USA Niagara, acting in concert with the City of Niagara Falls, seeks Request for Proposals (RFP) for urban design/ landscape architects ("Design Team") to assist in the preparation and design of landscape and streetscape improvements for an area of downtown Niagara Falls. The scope of the project, as defined in conceptual plans, is the creation of an entertainment district on Third Street between Rainbow Boulevard and Main Street with new amenities including lighting improvement, street furniture, landscape plantings, articulated sidewalks, traffic calming and pedestrian access enhancements. Concurrently with the overall project design and implementation - the City of Niagara Falls Water Authority is planning to replace the water main servicing the two block area.
