USA Niagara Development Corporation (USA Niagara) seeks a professional, financially sound organization and/or team to operate and manage the Conference Center Niagara Falls (CCNF) under contract with USA Niagara. The term of the operating contract will be at least five (5) years, commencing on January 1, 2009. Potential extensions of the operating term will be the subject of negotiations between USA Niagara and the selected operator.
The CCNF is located at 101 Old Falls Street in the center of downtown Niagara Falls, NY, within an easy walk to all hotels, restaurants, retail, tourism attractions, and entertainment facilities; including Niagara Falls State Park and the new Seneca Niagara Casino. The CCNF is comprised of 116,000 square-feet of space with the following major features: a 32,200 square-foot entertainment/exhibit hall with capacity for up to 4,000 persons; a 10,500 square-foot ballroom facility; a new 5,000-square-foot, multi-purpose conference dining room; a 5,000-square-foot Grand Foyer; a full-service learning center that includes 15 conference/meeting rooms with built-in multi-media equipment and wireless internet access; a fully-equipped business center; a theater-style presentation space; fully appointed executive boardroom facilities; a large, landscaped outdoor veranda; and a 5,000-square-foot, fully appointed kitchen facility.
A pre-proposal conference will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. local time at the CCNF. USA Niagara staff, the CCNF Architect of Record, the CCNF operations superintendent, and ESDC’s design/construction staff will be made available at that time to give a tour of the facility and to answer any questions.
